Hunk-A-Funk is a compilation album by American jazz organist Groove Holmes, released in 1975. The compilation consists of songs from Holmes' previous two solo albums, Night Glider (1973) and New Groove (1974). The recordings feature performances by several jazz, funk, R&B, and soul legends, such as Bernard Purdie (Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin, Vulfpeck), Garnett Brown (Herbie Hancock), Seldon Powell (Quincy Jones), Horace Ott (Nina Simone), Eddie Daniels (Freddie Hubbard), and many more. Holmes has played alongside Jimmy McGriff, Lou Rawls, Teddy Edwards, and more.
