The group was founded in Los Angeles in 1980. The members consisted of Albert De Gracia (piano), Dean Boysen (trumpet and flugelhorn), Emilio Conesa (electric guitar, acoustic guitar), Kirk Crumpler (bass), Larry White (electric guitar), Lee Peters (background vocals and lead vocals), Melicio Magadaluyo (saxophone and flute), Richard Aguon (drums and percussion) and Ruben Laxamana (saxophone and vocals). Their debut album Do You Like Our Music? released in 1981 was produced by The Whispers. Two singles Money In Your Pocket and Groovin’ were released but did not chart. The second album Get In Touch saw their change from disco/funk to a boogie-influenced urban music. The single Get In Touch With Me peaked at #56. The group’s first success was found on their third and final album Shine In The Light with the single Romeo Where’s Juliet?. It was a moderate hit in the United Kingdom where it peaked at #46 and peaked at #86 on the R&B Charts in the United States.
